Composer, actor and sound designer Aaron Smail has been a good friend of mine since he signed on to compose the original score for I’m Still Here. He’s full of joy, incredibly intelligent, and extremely driven. To be invited onto his Film Music Friday podcast to offer my thoughts on the role of music in films was a true honour.
